The first gallery is intended to show the variety of my black & white work. When
you do adult website photography, as I do, there may be a tendency on the part of
other photographers to assume that you are lacking in the artistic area. I trained as a
painter before I even picked up a camera. I'm schooled in the history of art, I've taken
anatomy and life drawing courses. I would recommend this regimen to anyone thinking
of going into photography. In fact, whenever an aspiring photographer asks me which
photography school I'd recommend, I always tell him to major in art and learn to draw
the human body first. You shouldn't be photographing the figure if you can't draw it.
